Our story
Where Gym Manager Hub came from
We started Gym Manager Hub after watching friends who own gyms in India struggle with software that was never designed for them. Their members wanted to pay by UPI — the software only understood credit cards. Their accountants wanted GST-compliant invoices with HSN codes — the software gave them generic billing PDFs. Their members expected WhatsApp reminders — the software could only send SMS that nobody opened.
The existing options fell into two camps. Global platforms like Mindbody and Glofox were polished but cost thousands of dollars a month and had no idea what GST, UPI or WhatsApp Business meant. Local Indian tools were affordable but felt like software from 2010 — clunky desktop apps with outdated UX and 2-year lock-in contracts that punished you for leaving.
We decided to build what was missing: a modern, India-first gym management software. Built on Next.js 14. Mobile-first from day one. WhatsApp Business on each gym's own number via Meta's official Embedded Signup. GST invoices with HSN/SAC and CGST/SGST/IGST breakdowns. Native UPI and Razorpay payment collection. Biometric face recognition attendance with a reference photo captured at enrollment — running on any tablet, no fingerprint hardware needed. AI-generated diet and workout plans. A PWA kiosk mode. And month-to-month billing, because we don't believe in 5-year lock-ins.
