Do I use my own WhatsApp number or a shared one?

Your own. Each gym connects its own WhatsApp Business Account via Meta's Embedded Signup in about 2 minutes. Your members receive messages from your gym's number, not from a shared platform number, so your brand stays front and centre.

Do I need WhatsApp Business API approval to use this?

Gym Manager Hub handles the WhatsApp Business API setup for you through the Meta Embedded Signup flow. You log in with the Facebook account that owns your business, approve the permissions and you are connected — no developer setup, no manual API key handling.

How much does sending WhatsApp messages cost?

WhatsApp Business charges a small conversation fee per 24-hour window, set by Meta and paid to Meta directly through your WhatsApp Business Account. Gym Manager Hub does not add any markup. Utility conversations like renewal alerts and payment receipts are billed at the lowest Meta rate.

Can I customise the WhatsApp message templates?

Yes. Gym Manager Hub ships with approved templates for renewal, birthday, payment, welcome and class reminders. You can edit the copy, add your gym name and tone, and Meta will re-approve the templates within a few hours.

Will messages still be sent if a member is on DND?

WhatsApp Business uses opt-in messaging: only members who have previously messaged your business number or explicitly opted in will receive utility messages. This is why WhatsApp open rates are so high — it is a permission-based channel, not a broadcast channel.

What happens if I don't connect my own WhatsApp number?

Gym Manager Hub has a global fallback WhatsApp Business Account, so your gym can still send messages during the free trial and early onboarding. You can switch to your own WhatsApp number at any time from the Settings page.

Does it send messages in Hindi or regional languages?

Yes. WhatsApp Business templates support multiple languages. You can create parallel templates in English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati or any other language your members speak, and Gym Manager Hub will send the right version based on each member's language preference.
